Usable fasteners database is created in the same way as in BAZIS-Woodworker. In case of BAZIS-Cabinet use this database is common for complex automation system.

Fasteners arrangement is executed in two steps. First, the algorithms for fasteners elements arrangement are set and fasteners for cabinet functional elements are specified (dividers, shelves, etc.). Such operation is fulfilled very seldom: at first module setup, machine equipment modernization, modern fasteners use or technological process change.

For arrangement algorithms setup the user need to specify the following parameters:

  • fasteners referencing mode;
  • fasteners type for particular cabinet elements;
  • dependence of fasteners elements number on joint size of connected panels and allowable indents;
  • additional pins availability;
  • alternative fasteners use.

Fasteners referencing is possible in one of three ways:

  • symmetrical, fasteners elements are placed symmetrically relatively to panels joint middle; fixed and minimum indent from initial joint is observed;
  • from joint start point from cabinet back edge side with fixed indent from it; minimum indent from opposite joint is observed;
  • from joint start point from front cabinet edge with fixed indent from it; minimum indent from opposite joint is observed.

If necessary, one or two pins can be mounted for each fastener element.

In some cases set fasteners use is impossible. The example is fastening of two horizontal panels to vertical panel with confirmat screws on one level but from different sides. In this case alternative fasteners should be used for one of the panels, e.g. connectors or L shaped brackets. BAZIS-Cabinet module processes such operations automatically replacing main fasteners by alternative fasteners.

Panel joining places are analyzed at fasteners arrangement and editing step and the most convenient fasteners will be selected. This operation is executed automatically thus making each element positioning accurate.
